Stuck? We’ll help.
Questions about the beta, a code that won’t behave, or an idea for the studio: it all goes to one inbox, support@draftmount.com.
Tell us which browser you use and what happened just before the problem. Please don’t send passwords, payment details or a full beta code.
Questions & answers
Where is my writing saved?
In the browser you wrote it in, on that device. Draftmount doesn’t upload your projects during the beta, which also means we can’t see them or get them back for you.
Use the Download button in the studio to keep a copy somewhere safe.
I cleared my browser and my project is gone. Can you restore it?
Sadly not. Clearing a site’s data deletes what the browser stored for it, and we never had a copy. If you downloaded a backup, you can paste it back into a new chapter.
My beta code doesn’t work.
Check it’s typed as DRAFT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Codes never use the letters I, L, O or U, so an O is always a zero. Codes can also expire or reach their limit.
Still stuck? Email support@draftmount.com with the first four characters after DRAFT (never the whole code) and we’ll look into it.
Can I write on my phone or tablet?
Yes, Draftmount runs in the browser. Projects don’t sync between devices during the beta, so pick one browser for each book for now.
When does the store open?
Soon. We’ll announce it on draftmount.com. Until then, nothing can be bought and no one is charged.
Who owns what I write?
You do. Always. The Terms of use say so in writing.
